How STACKiT AI Vision Simplified Beginning-of-Line Automation for Co-Packers

The Challenge
This co-packing facility required a flexible beginning-of-line automation solution capable of feeding multiple production lines with minimal manual handling. Because each production line processed different products, the customer needed a single mobile solution capable of supporting multiple lines instead of dedicating one system to each production line. To maximize productivity, the system also needed to feed two production lines simultaneously while allowing operators to quickly change end-of-arm tools for different case types.

The Solution
beRobox delivered three PALTZ.C20 systems equipped with STACKiT AI Vision.
This solution included:
STACKiT AI Vision, featuring automatic case detection and Automatic Variable Multipick.
Two custom dual-zone vacuum grippers with a quick tool changer for different product types.
Parallel conveyor feeding to supply two production lines simultaneously.
Designed as mobile plug & play, PALTZ units can be easily relocated between production lines, allowing operators to quickly adapt to changing production requirements while maintaining high productivity.
Why It Works
