We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician passionate about designing robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for handling a wide variety of products for palletizing applications. Requirements
Requested Skills
College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Knowledge of machining, assembly, and mechanical fabrication processes
Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings
Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to communicate in both French and English
Assets
Experience in managing technical projects
Knowledge of automation and robotics
Familiarity with ERP systems
Key Responsibilities
Design industrial and collaborative robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) tailored to customer products
Manufacture and test designed prototypes
Oversee the transition from prototype to production
Validate factory layouts by integrating our palletizing solutions
Create and update technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and production instructions
Collaborate with the engineering team to validate manufacturability and suggest improvements
Support the production team by resolving technical issues
Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and tools
