The Challenge
This meat processing facility relied entirely on manual palletizing of corrugated RSC boxes at the end of its production line. The repetitive nature of the task created ergonomic concerns while making recruitment and employee retention increasingly difficult. The customer was looking for an automation solution that could be deployed quickly without introducing unnecessary complexity into production. The project also had to operate reliably in a refrigerated environment at approximately 4°C while complying with collaborative safety requirements.

The Solution
To automate this application, beRobox delivered a PALTZ.C25 collaborative palletizer.
This solution included:
Standard vacuum gripper for RSC boxes
Easy-to-use palletizing software: STACKiT
Slipsheet management capacity
Designed as a Plug & Play solution, the unit was integrated quickly into the existing production line with minimal disruption.
Why It Works
This application required more than simply moving boxes from a conveyor to a pallet. The solution had to operate reliably in a refrigerated environment, support slipsheets, and remain easy for production operators to use. The ease of use of STACKiT palletizing software allowed operators to manage new products directly from the touchscreen without robot programming, making the system well suited for a dynamic food production environment.

Palletize refrigerated RSC boxes weighing up to 25 kg (55 lb).
Handle slipsheets automatically between pallet layers.
Operate safely in a 4°C (39°F) production environment.
Eliminate manual palletizing at the end of the line.
Allow operators to create new pallet patterns directly into STACKiT without robot programming.
