beRobox is growing, and we're looking for a Buyer who's ready to take ownership of our purchasing operations and help build what's next!
In this role, you'll play a key part in structuring and optimizing our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring our teams have what they need, when they need it.
Working closely with production, engineering, and finance, you'll help build an efficient, reliable, and scalable purchasing function that supports our growth in the robotics and automation industry.
Your day-to-day
Build, implement, and continuously improve purchasing processes to support our growing operations.
Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times.
Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and purchasing terms to secure the best value.
Manage purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure on-time deliveries.
Work closely with production, engineering, and finance to anticipate purchasing needs and align procurement with project timelines.
Establish and maintain reliable inventory tracking, including stock levels, reorder points, and shortage prevention.
Keep purchasing data accurate and up to date in our ERP/MRP system.
Diversify our supplier network to strengthen supply chain reliability.
Develop and monitor purchasing KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management, and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
Experience building and improving purchasing processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing company.
Fluency in French and English to communicate effectively with our suppliers.
Knowledge of Incoterms and international customs procedures is an asset.

The details
Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week)
Based in Sherbrooke, Qc, with occasional travel (supplier visits or industry events)
Flexible schedule, primarily office-based, with regular collaboration with our production team
